About Our Work

NCVO’s ICT Development team signposts voluntary and community organisations to resources that can help them make the most of technology.

The work of the team builds on the legacy of work achieved by NCVO as accountable body of the ICT Hub.

The ICT Hub was a partnership of organisations that came together to provide a range of good practice resources and guidance to help the voluntary and community sector benefit from ICT.  The project was funded under the Home Office’s ChangeUp programme from 2005 – 2008.

The core partners in the ICT Hub partnership were:

  • NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) - accountable body
  • NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action)
  • Lasa (London Advice Services Alliance)
  • AbilityNet
  • iT4Communities
Introducing ICT professionals wanting to volunteer their skills to charities and voluntary organisations needing ICT help.
